Since these are supportive rather than “killing” herbs, you don’t necessarily need to start with just 1 drop, but you should still titrate to ensure your stomach tolerates them well.
Milk Thistle: This is your most important daily support. Aim for 20–30 drops, 2–3 times daily. It is very safe and helps prevent the “toxic” feeling associated with a Herx.
Cleavers: Great for moving the lymph. Start with 15 drops, twice daily. If you feel “puffy” or have swollen glands, you can increase the dose.
Nettle Seed: Very potent kidney support. Start with 10 drops, twice daily. It can be slightly stimulating for some, so avoid taking it right before bed if you have insomnia.
Horse Chestnut: This is the one to be most careful with. Because it is a powerful vasoconstrictor, start with 5 drops, twice daily. Do not exceed the manufacturer’s recommended dose, as high amounts can be harsh on the stomach.
